Privacy policy

Short version: you can use YouCocktail without an account, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Who is responsible

The data controller is the publisher of the site, AKI Horizon (contact: akiassi@akihorizon.com), under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data is processed

• Technical data needed to deliver the site. Our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and basic request information to serve pages and protect the site against abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website. Cloudflare may process this data outside the European Union under appropriate safeguards (EU standard contractual clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework).
• Your ingredient list and unit preference. The ingredients you tick and your choice of units are saved in your browser's local storage, on your device only, so you find them on your next visit. They are never sent to us. You can delete them at any time with the "Clear" button or your browser settings.
• No third-party requests. Fonts and images are served from our own host: your browser does not contact Google or any other third party when you use the site.
• Emails you send us. If you contact us, we use your email address and message only to reply.

We do not sell personal data, we do not build profiles, and we do not set cookies of our own.

Changes

If we add audience measurement, a newsletter or advertising, this policy will be updated before they go live, and any cookie that requires consent will only be set after you agree.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete data about you, object to its processing, or ask for its restriction, by writing to the contact address above. You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
